Services
Being a local specialist-manufacturing unit we can also offer services, which will complement your staff and help produce, a smoother running Orthotic service.
· High Quality Orthosis:
All of the products produced pass a high level of quality checks.
· Delivery Times:
General Orthotics take five working days in the workshop, and more complicated Orthotics such as K.A.F.O.’S may take up to ten days.
These times are flexible to accommodate patients and clinical needs.
We can also offer a one day clinical turnover if requested, but prior arrangement would be appreciated.
Minor alterations and repairs returned to Essex Orthopaedics can be dispatched direct to the client if requested, to save on clinical time.
· Delivery And Collection:
Essex Orthopaedics can offer a Free Delivery and Collection Service, we use a personal delivery service, which eliminates packing and overnight carriers, and this service reduces delivery times to and from the clinics and increases security of the goods.
· Transit Containers:
Essex Orthopaedics supplies Transit Barrels Free of Charge these are used to store goods prior to collection, and for delivery to and from the clinic.
· On Site Consulting Rooms:
Essex Orthopaedics has the facility of a fully equipped On Site Consulting
Room, this is used by Orthotists who wish to work closely with the technician or need a work shop facility on site.
This environment has proved invaluable in the past for difficult and complicated patients.
This service is offered at No Extra Cost
Appointments for this facility are made by the hospital or Orthotist and confirmed via Essex Orthopaedics.
Appointments are available from 8.30 a.m. to 4.30 p.m. Monday to Friday.
· Work Shop Facility:
The workshop facility is open to all negative cast manufactures to modify and rectify their casts, or to visit Essex Orthopaedics and explain their requirements with the technicians involved.
We have found this very useful in the past, as describing a complicated Orthosis on paper is sometimes very difficult, these meetings benefit both the Orthotist and technical staff as it improves the knowledge and forms a working relationship between the Orthotist and manufacturing facility.
