Essex Orthopaedics was formed in January 1995 with one member of staff in a 500sq/ft unit, working initially for one Orthotist.
We relocated to new premises on the 1st June 1996. It now has 4 times the manufacturing area and private consulting room and fitting facilities and waiting area.
Since January 1st 1995 we have formed a steady growth curve and today we have 6 full time technicians, one full time clerical worker and a part time quality controller.
We now manufacture orthosis for Orthotists and Health Authorities around the country; we also manufacture foot Orthotics for local chiropodists.
Essex Orthopaedics is now synonymous with new innovations and technology.
The factory is recognised as being state of the art plastic manufacturer and the advance workshops are producing some of the most modern Orthotics currently available in the UK.
